A stack is an interactive canvas for deploying a group of services together. Apps in a stack share secrets, network, and configuration.

Create and Manage a Stack

Open Stacks in the dashboard and add your apps. You can also use MCP:

Tool	Inputs	Effect
`list_stacks`	None	List stacks in the workspace
`create_stack`	`name`, optional `apps` (app names)	Create a group of apps
`update_stack`	`name`, optional `add` and `remove` (app names)	Change membership
`delete_stack`	`name`	Remove the stack; keep its apps

For example: “Create a stack called store with store-web, store-api, and store-db.”

Connect Services

Connect apps using environment references or MCP’s connect_services tool. Deleting a stack keeps its apps and data. You can also manage stacks through the REST API. There is no beam stack CLI command.
