# Using the Dashboard

> Deploy projects and manage your workspace in the browser

Use the [dashboard](https://platform.beam.cloud) to deploy apps and manage your workspace. Select the same workspace as your CLI to find its deployments.

## Deploy a Repository

Create an app and select a connected GitHub repository or paste a public repository URL. Beam detects the project configuration. Review it, then deploy.

Follow the build logs and open the app's URL when it is ready. Web servers must listen on the configured port at `0.0.0.0` or `::`.

Use the [CLI](/v2/hosting/containers) for local projects or registry images, and [CI/CD](/v2/topics/ci) to deploy on every push.

## Find Resources

| Dashboard area | What you can inspect or manage |
| - | - |
| Apps | Application configuration and deployment versions |
| Stacks | Groups of related apps on a shared board |
| Endpoints | Hosted model catalog and invocation examples |
| Tasks | Individual invocations and their status |
| Containers | Running containers and their lifecycle |
| Logs | Runtime and system logs |
| Compute | Pools and machines |
| Storage | Volumes and durable storage |
| Usage | Resource usage |
| Settings | Members, billing, credits, API keys, secrets, and webhooks |

Open a deployment to view its metrics, logs, tasks, containers, events, versions, and configuration.

## Operate an App

Use deployment history to start, stop, or redeploy a version. See [deployment lifecycle](/v2/hosting/deployments) for rollouts and readiness checks.

Connect apps with [environment references](/v2/hosting/references) and store credentials in **Settings → Secrets**. Add credits in **Settings → Credits**.
